Tool Repair Estimator

The Tool Repair Estimator provides administrative services by creating and coordinating the estimates for tooling repairs and assists customers with facilitating the processing of their tools being repaired. A day in the life at Hubbell involves reviewing incoming tool repair requests and preparing repair estimates for customer approval. You will contact customers by phone or email to discuss repair costs and obtain authorization to proceed with repairs. You will enter and maintain repair orders, estimates, and customer information in SAP and Salesforce. You will assist in prioritizing repair work for the Tool Repair Technicians based on customer needs, turnaround expectations, and workload. You will track the status of tools through the repair process and provide updates to customers as needed. You will coordinate with team members to ensure repair orders are processed accurately and efficiently. You will assist with shipping and receiving documentation to support the movement of tools through the repair process. You will respond to customer questions regarding repair status, pricing, and expected completion dates. You will maintain organized records and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time. You will support a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment while helping deliver excellent customer service.

What will help you thrive in this role? High School Diploma, Microsoft Excel, SAP experience a plus, Salesforce experience a plus. Maintain composure and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills. Maintain a calm, patient and positive demeanor when communicating with customers. Possess strong verbal communication skills and the ability to actively listen, understand concerns and provide clear and effective responses.
