Your main responsibility will be to execute the Value Engagement process to understand customer business needs, articulate the value of the 3DEXPERIENCE portfolio and propose solutions delivering maximum value.This includes:Engaging with the customers to assess their challenges and need for business transformationValidate the technical feasibility, complexity, and value of the proposed solution. Plan and deliver solution presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of value.Working with customers and Dassault Systèmes' Services or partner on a deployment roadmap.Monitor customer success throughout deployment and (re)engage as necessarySoft Skills:Technical Sales techniques (e.g. consultative selling, value-based selling)Excellent communication skills within customer-facing contextAbility to work with cross-functional and cross geography teams (in English language)Ability to deliver compelling presentations through storytellingAbility to engage at all levels of an organization, from end-users and managementComfortable working in a matrix organizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage assigned work streams and activities as part of a large engagementHard Skills:Solid experience in technology related to manufacturing planning and execution such as DELMIA, ERP systems, MOM/MES systems like Apriso, and/or supply chain planning systems like QUINTIQ or equivalent.Basic understanding of modeling and simulation topics in Solidworks, CATIA, CAMEO, Dymola, Abaqus, or SIMULIABasic understanding and experience in AI and machine-learningSolid experience in Life Sciences-based requirements under FDA or EMA regulationsFamiliarity with quality topics a plusFamiliarity with lab-based topics a plusFamiliarity with Cloud offerings (Saas, Iaas, Paas, etc.)Good understanding of product development processes and associated challenges and business driversFluency in English is requiredFamiliar with change and configuration management concepts (leading transformation)QualificationsProfessional ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent practical experience).Familiarity with Dassault Systèmes' solutions (or PLM industry)Experience working with systems integrators, 3DS resellers, and/or consulting firmsExperience in customer-facing rolesExperience selling and implementing enterprise software solutions is preferredAbility to travel across Europe, North America, and potentially parts of AsiaEqual opportunityAs with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the New York area is $96,750-$129,000.Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
