Supervisor - Customer Service / Distribution(hourly)

Position: Customer Service Supervisor – Distribution (Hourly). Location: Kent, WA. This role supervises and trains staff in the lab/customer service area, ensuring high level of efficiency, attendance, engagement and compliance with mandatory safety protocols. Responsibilities Demonstrate high competency in all office and customer‑service duties, including laboratory software system. Maintain close association with accounts, address product information issues and Rx service; render decisions on sales/service policies. Interpret ticket instructions and troubleshoot production problems within area of responsibility to ensure quality and service levels. Manage and train employees, conduct timely performance reviews, document performance issues and maintain a motivating work environment. Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization regarding company policies and procedures. Assist and participate in planning of State and Local Conventions. Review and suggest process improvements to simplify jobs, eliminate non‑value‑added tasks, and reduce costs. Act as a role model, communicate organizational goals, foster collaborative environment. Maintain clean and organized work area. Follow all company, manufacturer policies and safety rules; maintain confidentiality of proprietary and HIPAA information. Assist coworkers as needed to keep work current and meet deadlines; demonstrate a good attitude. Provide training, work direction, and technical guidance for less experienced coworkers. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. 4+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality or call‑center environments. Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to remain composed with difficult customers. Proficient in clerical and computer functions supporting lab operations. Knowledge of Digital Vision Inc. (DVI) optical manufacturing software. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage internal and external customers. Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Previous supervisory experience is a plus. Pay Range: $32.42 – $47.95 per hour. Pay determined by geography, experience and qualifications.
