Sr. Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant Job Location: Corte Madera, CA Work Schedule: 100% on-site for the first 6 months; then hybrid 3 days on-site and 2 days remote Salary: $80,000 – $125,000 per year Key Responsibilities: Support month‑end close, journal entries, and GL reconciliations. Perform AR and credit card transaction reconciliations. Analyze financial data and create ad‑hoc reports. Support revenue accounting and audit requests. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external auditors. Utilize Excel, Access, Oracle Analytics, and reporting tools. Identify process improvements and enhance workflows. Assist with reporting enhancements and system initiatives. Support other accounting projects as needed. Must have: 2‑5 years accounting experience. Month‑end close, reconciliations, and GL experience. Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar. Nice‑to‑Have: Audit/public accounting experience. Retail revenue accounting experience. SQL, Access. Transaction processing experience (Adyen, Discover, American Express). Audit experience. Personal Attributes: Process improvement mindset. Analytical and detail‑oriented. Curious, adaptable, and proactive. Strong communicator and problem solver. Motivated by growth and ownership.
