Position Overview

We are searching for a dedicated and technically proficient Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding imaging team. In this role, you will operate cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a nurturing team of healthcare providers, and foster confidence and serenity in our patients through precise imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound exams, optimizing for abdominal, obstetric-gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging needs
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing clear explanations throughout the examination process
• Work closely with radiologists and referral physicians to ensure the delivery of top-quality diagnostic imagery
• Effectively operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Engage in ongoing learning related to advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar credentials
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is desirable
