Travel Nurse RN - ICU, Peoria, Illinois. Responsibilities Perform all responsibilities and duties required by the unit as specific to the scope of service. Implement procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice. Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to assure integration of information for use by the healthcare team. Complete initial assessment upon patient admission and develop appropriate plan of care in accordance with unit standards and based on patient and family needs. Implement plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures. Modify plan of care based upon continuous evaluation. Takes responsibility for patient and employee safety by reporting and/or correcting safety hazards and incidents. Communicate with others directly and in private when necessary to resolve issues. Offer constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers, and confer with colleagues to expand knowledge base. Identify own learning needs and take initiative to begin appropriate solutions. Fulfills all requirements of departmental competencies. Qualifications Experience: Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience. (Preferred: N/A) Education: Required ASN; Preferred BSN. Certifications & Licensure: Illinois state RN license in good standing; BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS (American Heart Association).
