Transportation Litigation Senior Attorney

Role Summary Location: Houston, Texas Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office) Opportunity Overview Join a nationally recognized litigation practice representing a major transportation and logistics client Step into a senior-level role with substantial case ownership and direct client contact Handle complex, high-exposure transportation and casualty matters alongside experienced trial attorneys Collaborate with attorneys across a national platform on sophisticated litigation Core Matter Types Transportation and trucking litigation General casualty defense Catastrophic injury claims Logistics-related disputes Complex civil litigation Primary Responsibilities Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution Develop case strategy, oversee discovery, and handle motion practice Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and legal memoranda Take and defend depositions and attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences Provide strategic case analysis and regular client reporting Negotiate resolutions and support trial preparation Collaborate with attorneys across offices on complex matters Background & Experience JD from an accredited law school Active Texas bar admission 8+ years of litigation experience Trial experience required; first or second chair experience preferred Strong deposition and motion practice background Transportation, trucking, logistics, casualty, or personal injury experience preferred Excellent advocacy, analytical, and communication skills Compensation & Benefits Compensation up to $230,000 , commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus opportunity Comprehensive benefits package, including retirement savings and generous paid time off Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office What the Role Offers Sophisticated, high-stakes litigation work for a global transportation client Significant responsibility and direct client exposure Strong mentorship and collaboration within a national practice Clear opportunities for long-term growth and advancement Well-established platform with a supportive, team-oriented culture #J-18808-Ljbffr North American Transportation Management Institute
