Job Title: TRAVEL CNC Machinist

• $40hr and $1666 per diem
• Contract located in central IL

Job Description

The role involves working with CNC Grinders, Hobbs, Shapers, and utilizing Siemens and Fanuc Controls. The machinist will operate Okuma Drills and Junker, Liebherr CNC machinery, and utilize hand gages to ensure parts are taken to the CMM lab for quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Grinders, Hobbs, and Shapers.
• Work with Siemens and Fanuc Controls.
• Handle Okuma Drills and Liebherr CNC machinery.
• Perform independent CNC setups.
• Use hand gages for quality checks and ensure parts are taken to the CMM lab.
• Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of previous CNC Machining experience.
• Previous gear cutting experience.
• Proven track record of strong attendance and ability to follow directions.
• Experience with one or more of the mentioned machines: CNC Grinders, Hobs, Junker Grinders, Warner Grinder, Lathes, Okuma Drills, Gleason Shapers, Liebherr Hobs.

Work Environment

The position requires flexibility to work both 2nd and 3rd shifts, including weekends. A minimum of 50 hours per week is expected, with the potential to work additional hours based on performance. The machining environment is not temperature-controlled, with heat treat areas contributing to warmer conditions in summer and colder conditions in winter.

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Dallas,TX.
