I am partnering with a well-established manufacturer seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machining professional looking for long-term stability, a strong company culture, and the opportunity to receive specialized equipment training in Italy.

The ideal candidate will bring strong CNC mill experience, solid mechanical and troubleshooting abilities, and experience working with aluminum barrel cutting equipment and test equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC milling equipment

Machine precision components according to drawings, specifications, and tolerances

Perform tooling setups, adjustments, changeovers, and modifications as needed

Work with aluminum barrel cutting equipment

Operate and support specialized testing and inspection equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and machining specifications

Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances

Diagnose machining, tooling, and equipment issues and make appropriate adjustments

Assist with tooling, fixtures, jigs, and other components used in the manufacturing process

Perform preventative maintenance and help maintain equipment in optimal operating condition

Partner with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures

Qualifications

Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, Toolmaker, CNC Mill Machinist, or similar manufacturing position

Strong hands-on CNC milling experience required

Experience with aluminum barrel cutting equipment strongly preferred

Experience operating or troubleshooting test equipment

Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, speeds, tolerances, and precision measurement

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a manufacturing environment

Dependable with a strong work history and commitment to quality

International Training Requirement

The selected candidate must be willing and able to travel to Italy for approximately 1 week to 10 days for specialized equipment training.

A valid passport is required.

Candidates should be comfortable traveling internationally and participating in hands-on technical training with equipment manufacturers and specialists.
