As a Security Officer Part Time Licensed Patrol Coordination in Bronx NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents visitors staff and/or service providers by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in a shelter setting.
• Respond to incidents resident concerns and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility common areas entrances exterior perimeter and assigned grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity document observations and incidents and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly respectful environment by providing a visible presence and supporting de-escalation efforts when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
