Senior Accountant

Are you a meticulous and analytical accountant looking to make a significant impact on a dynamic finance team? About The Role Join our client's finance team as a Senior Accountant, where you'll ensure financial accuracy and support strategic business decisions. Collaborate closely with the Controller to streamline processes and maintain financial compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate transaction records.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and internal reports.
- Execute month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and support audits.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in gathering data for tax filings.
- Analyze weekly cash flows to ensure liquidity.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-4 years of public accounting experience preferred; manufacturing exposure is a plus.
- Proficiency with accounting software; Great Plains is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and corporate finance principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Willing to travel up to 25%.
