Whatnot is the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe, enabling sellers to buy, sell, and discover products across many categories. We are growing rapidly and are dedicated to building a new industry at scale. Role Become the go‑to expert for your category, representing both sellers and buyers within the Whatnot community. Team members must be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York City hubs. Serve as the industry expert for your category, understanding seller and buyer dynamics, community channels, influencers, and product nuances. Act as the face of Whatnot for the sellers and buyers you represent. Source and reach out to sellers, convincing them to join and grow their business on Whatnot through social media, outbound channels, and in‑person events. Partner with top sellers and strategic partners to build large businesses on Whatnot. Build and execute seller growth plans to unlock category growth. Spearhead diverse marketing initiatives, such as influencer partnerships, to boost brand awareness and attract more buyers. Use basic data analytics skills (SQL) to derive insights and enhance process efficiency. Utilize key data points to assess category growth, success, and areas for improvement, driving continuous iteration. Qualifications Passion for Whatnot’s mission and commitment to improving community experiences. Up to 3 years of experience in a fast‑paced, client‑facing role with a track record of rapid iteration. Scrappy and flexible, thriving in ambiguous environments with limited guidance. Strong problem‑solving, project management, and strategic execution skills on both sides of an emerging marketplace.
