Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join the team at Crown Pointe in Columbus, Ohio. This position plays an important role in creating a positive experience for prospective and current residents while supporting the property's leasing and daily office operations.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle resident questions and concerns professionally.

Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are preferred to help support and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking prospects and residents.

Schedule

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

The Successful Leasing Consultant Will:

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to prospective and current residents.
• Respond to inquiries and communicate with prospects and residents by phone, email, and in person.
• Build positive relationships with prospective and current residents.
• Assist prospective residents throughout the leasing process, including answering questions, scheduling appointments, and providing information about available apartments.
• Conduct apartment and community tours and communicate the features and benefits of the property.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain leasing files, resident records, and other required documentation.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic and physical files.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling resident, applicant, and company information.
• Assist with move-in, move-out, renewal, and other resident-related documentation.
• Respond to resident concerns professionally and work to identify appropriate solutions.
• Use effective conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills when addressing resident or prospect concerns.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Support the Property Manager and team with daily office operations and other duties as assigned.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall success of the property.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide professional, responsive service.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with recordkeeping, documentation, data entry, and file management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with prospective and current residents.
• Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle resident concerns professionally and with sound judgment.
• Ability to use computers and basic office equipment to perform job duties.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred, including the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking prospects and residents.
• Ability to follow established procedures, work independently, and contribute to a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout the property as needed to perform job duties.
• Ability to walk throughout the community and conduct apartment and property tours.
• Ability to use stairs and navigate buildings and grounds as necessary to perform job responsibilities.
• Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials and supplies necessary to perform job duties.
