Licenses/Certifications: Medical license in Kentucky; Board Certified in Cardiac Surgery preferred

Experience: Recent cardiothoracic and adult cardiac surgery experience required

What You'll Do

• Provide adult cardiac surgical care, including CABG and valve repair/replacement procedures
• Manage general thoracic surgeries such as thoracostomies, bronchoscopies, and lung biopsies
• Support structural heart procedures in hybrid OR/cath lab settings
• Manage ICU patients post-surgery, including high-risk and critical care cases
• Collaborate with anesthesia, ICU, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Document procedures in EPIC EMR system
• Assist with perioperative and postoperative patient management

What You Need

Required:

• Medical license in Kentucky
• Certified or eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Experience in adult cardiac surgery, including CABG and valve procedures
• Ability to perform ICU management, perioperative care, and hybrid procedure support

Preferred:

• Thoracic surgical experience
• Experience with high-acuity ICU cases
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
