Maintenance Worker II (Engineering)

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in a 24/7, cGMP-regulated facility.
• Work with air handling units (AHUs), chillers, boilers, and cleanroom HVAC systems.
• Maintain temperature-controlled environments, including cold and warm rooms.
• Interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Accurately complete maintenance logs and system documentation.
• Apply strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to system issues.
• Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.
• Support consistent environmental control to meet manufacturing and facility standards.
• Climb ladders, work in confined spaces, follow LOTO procedures, and work under hot work permits.
• Work in cold rooms.
• Be exposed to chemicals such as glycol, utilities, IPA, spor-klenz, and refrigerant.
• Operate scissor lift and boom lift.

Skills:

• 2+ years in a dedicated commercial HVAC role.
• Previous experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in a 24/7, cGMP-regulated facility.
• Experience with AHUs, chillers, boilers, and cleanroom HVAC systems.
• Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• HVAC Technician EPA Certification is a plus.
• Any additional licenses or trade certifications/licenses are a plus.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including every other Sunday, with 12-hour workdays.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma.
