Ultrasonographer

Position Overview The Ultrasonographer will ensure that the evaluation of Ultrasound procedures are administered in a fashion that is accurate, timely, responsive and reliable. Customers served include UHSH employees, Medical Staff, patients and regulatory agencies. Priority will be given to activities that directly affect customer service.

UHS Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY UHS Binghamton General Hospital, Binghamton, NY UHS Salanger Outpatient Center, Vestal, NY

There is more than one location associated with this position. This is either because there are multiple openings at different sites, or the successful candidate will be required to float across multiple UHS facilities. Your recruiter and hiring manager will clarify expectations during the interview process.

Work Shift and Schedule:

This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

Compensation Range:

$37.00 - $55.50 per hour, depending on experience

This position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience

• Minimum Required:
  • Associate’s degree or certification in Ultrasound, extensive knowledge in cross-sectional anatomy.
• Preferred:
  • Not Applicable

License/Certification

• Minimum Required:
  • ARDMS Registered or Registry eligible. Registry eligible staff must successfully pass the ARMS exam and achieve registered status within one year of hire.
