Summit Counseling LLC is a growing counseling practice based in Blackwood, NJ, serving clients across the lifespan — from adolescents through older adults. We use evidence-based modalities including EMDR, CBT, Mindfulness-Based approaches, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients work through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

We're looking for a dedicated therapist to join our growing practice, full-time or part-time. We welcome applicants at either of the following licensure levels:

• Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) working toward full licensure, who will receive regular clinical supervision as part of this role
• Independently Licensed Clinician (LPC or LCSW) ready to carry a full caseload with autonomy

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide individual (and/or couples, if applicable) therapy to a diverse caseload of clients
• Conduct intake assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in SimplePractice
• Utilize evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches (EMDR, CBT, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, and others as appropriate)
• Maintain compliance with NJ licensing board requirements, HIPAA, and practice policies
• Participate in regular clinical supervision (LAC) or peer consultation (independently licensed)
• Collaborate professionally with practice leadership and support staff
• Uphold client confidentiality and professional ethical standards at all times

QUALIFICATIONS — LAC TRACK

• Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field from an accredited program
• Active LAC licensure in the State of New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
• Willingness to engage in structured clinical supervision toward full licensure

QUALIFICATIONS — INDEPENDENTLY LICENSED TRACK

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Active, unrestricted LPC or LCSW licensure in the State of New Jersey
• Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload independently

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• LAC Track: $40.00–$50.00/hour
• LPC/LCSW Track: $55.00–$70.00/hour
