Description Posting Title: Materials Supervisor Reports To: Plant Manager Location: Salt Lake City, UT Salary Range: $52,250 to $68,000 *This position is eligible for the annual performance bonus plan. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. Working in a manufacturing factory environment, modular products allow for improved quality for the customer and safety of the team. Our solutions are used by some of the largest operators in the industry-including search engine and social media companies, co-location providers and cloud service hosts. ABOUT THE ROLE Execute essential job functions like receiving, inspecting, and moving materials to inventory and production. Prepare, document, and package for shipment, including Bills of Lading and shipment coordination. Manages the shipping and receipt of all products, materials and supplies. Receives the materials, recording inventory locations Partner and communicates with Production Managers and Vendor Partners to complete tasks required to meet project goals to support production. Tracking and assist in managing inventory levels and assist in determining material requirements for new projects Works with assembly and quality groups to ensure all issues are closed and inspections are complete prior to bagging operation Supervises bagging and loading operations Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing materials Contribute to a clean, orderly, and safe work environment. Follow all company and OSHA required safety requirements. Supervises the prompt unloading of trucks and package deliveries, inspect, receive and confirm inventory system status Performs daily cycle counts and updates inventory daily Maintains and accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately Engages with all with courtesy, respect, and enthusiasm Supervises the scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock Supervises the Receiving, stacking, storing, and loading of trucks and material Tracks and schedules material movement to production lines ABOUT YOU Good verbal and written communication skills Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite Knowledge of MRP systems Minimum travel for training MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Licensure/Certifications: N/A Experience: 2 years of college or equivalent work experience in the manufacturing or construction industry desired *Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
