• Oversee day-to-day financial recordkeeping for a portfolio of small business clients, ensuring their books remain accurate and up to date.
• Review financial activity, investigate discrepancies, and ensure transactions are properly recorded and categorized.
• Maintain client accounts and financial data in QuickBooks Online, with occasional use of QuickBooks Desktop.
• Handle sales tax reporting and ensure filings are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients with questions about their books, payroll, and routine accounting needs.
• Work with third-party payroll providers to help coordinate payroll activities and resolve client-related issues.
• Keep client financial records and supporting documentation organized in preparation for tax filings.
• Compile financial information and supporting schedules for tax return preparation and review.

• 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required; QuickBooks Desktop experience is also valuable.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach.
• Someone who takes ownership of their work, follows through on commitments, and genuinely cares about doing right by clients.
