Practice Info Short-term acute care hospital with 300 beds Features a neonatal intensive care unit with 21 beds and on-site neonatologists Diverse and challenging case mix includes general, endo, vascular, neuro, radiology, thoracic, urology, cardiac, bariatric, orthopedic, plastics ENT, OB, and GYN Operates under a collaborative care team model Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtain and/or verify patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $525,000 Sign-on bonus incentives: $100,000 Loan repayment or training assistance program options are available Benefits Generous paid time off Generous benefits package, including: Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Profit sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule Weekday call is 7:00 PM-7:00 AM with a guaranteed post-call day off About 3 calls per month Requirements M.D./D.O.
