NICU And Labor And Delivery Respiratory TherapistThis position will have a focus on NICU and Labor and Delivery (L&D). Performs therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures and provides assessment, treatment, care and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.EducationGraduate of Respiratory Care Program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)Certification & LicensureCA Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required.National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Certification requiredNRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider within 180 days of hire.BLS - Basic Life SupportPreferred Experience As Typically Acquired InExperience with intubation of infants strongly preferred.Acute care clinical experience in Respiratory Care, training in arterial puncture and blood gas analysis.
