Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate for a nighttime role within a short-term acute care facility. The position involves working three 12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00, with weekend duties required. The successful applicant will possess a valid Oregon OR license and have experience in polysomnography.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct sleep studies and assessments for patients with sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and periodic limb movement syndrome.
• Monitor and analyze patient data during sleep studies using advanced equipment and technology.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Provide patient education on sleep hygiene and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• MUST hold a valid OR license.
• Minimum one year of experience in polysomnography or a related field.
• Certifications: BLS, RPSGT, and OR Polysomnography License.
• Familiarity with sleep study equipment and techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle patient interactions with care.
• Strong understanding of infection control standards and patient safety protocols.

Shift Details
