Senior Cost Accountant

Support accounting processes and procedures Assist with transaction processing and reconciliation Contribute to month-end closing activities Help prepare financial statements and reports Support identification and resolution of accounting discrepancies and exceptions Maintain reconciliation and supporting accounting documentation Support financial reporting processes and data collection and verification Help prepare financial disclosures and management reporting packages Support compliance with accounting standards and cost accounting policies Contribute to cost frameworks and cost models for business decision-making Assist with product and portfolio cost analysis, including margin analysis and target-costing support Support cost analysis of semiconductor manufacturing operations and technologies Assist with cost models for production processes, yield management, and technology nodes Help identify manufacturing cost drivers and cost trends Contribute analysis supporting manufacturing optimization, capacity planning, and technology investment decisions Assist with bi-annual standard cost updates Provide insight into MFG variances, PPV, E&O, and inventory reconciliations Support manufacturing profitability and cost competitiveness initiatives Assist with internal and external audits, including schedules, documentation, inquiries, and recommendations Support accounting interfaces with operations, engineering, and supply chain Contribute to cross-functional financial initiatives and process improvement Document processes and procedures for knowledge transfer Share accounting expertise and support training Support adoption of new cost accounting tools, technologies, and digital solutions Maintain appropriate documentation of accounting activities Requirements Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Experience with accounting software and systems High level of accuracy in financial calculations Good problem-solving abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in team environments Advanced Excel and Accounting Software skills Flexibility to adapt to changing accounting requirements Commitment to financial accuracy and integrity Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, technologies, and cost drivers Strong communication skills with ability to engage effectively across functions Experience with advanced costing methodologies including activity-based costing and target costing Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP Preferred), cost modules, and analytical platforms Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related role Knowledge of accounting principles and standards Experience with accounting systems and financial applications Background in technology or manufacturing industry preferred 4-6 years of progressive experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or related roles Advanced knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing economics and cost structures Adheres to all Company security and confidentiality requirements Comply with financial data protection policies Follows all accounting standards and financial regulations Completes all required training and certifications Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in accounting principles and practices, with a strong focus on financial reporting, cost analysis, and compliance with accounting standards.
