Cost Accountant

Support accounting processes and procedures Assist with transaction processing and reconciliation Contribute to month-end closing activities Help prepare financial statements, reports, disclosures, and management reporting packages Support identification and resolution of accounting discrepancies and exceptions Maintain reconciliation and supporting accounting documentation Support financial reporting processes and data collection and verification Contribute to cost frameworks and cost models for business decision-making Assist with product and portfolio cost analysis, margin analysis, and target-costing support Support cost analysis of semiconductor manufacturing operations and technologies Assist with cost models for production processes, yield management, and technology nodes Identify manufacturing cost drivers and cost trends Run analysis supporting manufacturing optimization, capacity planning, and technology investment decisions Assist with bi-annual standard cost updates and provide insight into MFG variances, PPV, and E&O Support initiatives improving manufacturing profitability and cost competitiveness Assist with internal and external audits, including audit schedules, documentation, inquiries, requests, recommendations, and activity records Support accounting interfaces with operations, engineering, and supply chain Assist with cross-functional financial communications, initiatives, process improvement, and knowledge transfer Document processes and procedures and support training on specific procedures Support adoption of new cost accounting tools, technologies, and digital solutions Complete required training and certifications and maintain compliant accounting documentation Requirements Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Experience with accounting software and systems High level of accuracy in financial calculations Good problem-solving abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in team environments Advanced Excel and accounting software skills Flexibility to adapt to changing accounting requirements Commitment to financial accuracy and integrity Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, technologies, and cost drivers Experience with advanced costing methodologies including activity-based costing and target costing Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, cost modules, and analytical platforms Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or related role Knowledge of accounting principles and standards Experience with accounting systems and financial applications Background in technology or manufacturing industry preferred 2-5 years of progressive experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or related roles Advanced knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing economics and cost structures Completion of required training and certifications Compliance with company security, confidentiality, financial data protection, accounting standards, and financial regulations Core Competencies Demonstrates strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost analysis, with a focus on semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies.
