QA/QC Manager

A leading mechanical contractor specializing in complex HVAC, plumbing, process piping, industrial, life sciences, and mission-critical projects is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality programs across large-scale construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring all work meets client requirements, industry standards, and applicable code compliance while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific QA/QC programs and procedures. Oversee inspections and quality audits for HVAC, plumbing, process piping, and mechanical systems. Ensure compliance with applicable ASME codes and standards, project specifications, and client requirements. Manage pressure testing, commissioning documentation, turnover packages, and closeout deliverables. Partner with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and field teams to proactively address quality concerns. Lead root-cause investigations and corrective action plans when quality issues arise. Conduct site inspections and verify installations conform to design drawings and specifications. Track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects. Interface with clients, third-party inspectors, and commissioning teams throughout project execution. What We're Looking For 5+ years of QA/QC experience within mechanical construction. Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, process piping, fabrication, and mechanical systems. Demonstrated experience working with ASME codes, welding quality requirements, and pressure piping systems. Knowledge of welding procedures, NDT methods, hydrostatic testing, and material traceability programs. Experience supporting industrial, life sciences, manufacturing, healthcare, mission-critical, or data center projects. Ability to review drawings, specifications, ISOs, submittals, and quality documentation. Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management documentation systems. OSHA certification preferred. Why Join?
