Tax Accountant - Los Angeles

Tax Accountant / Tax Preparer Santa Monica, CA We are seeking a skilled Tax Preparer with 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation, including individual, multi-state, S-Corp, and C-Corp tax returns. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in UltraTax software and a strong commitment to accuracy and client service. This position offers on-site training for candidates with 1-2 years of tax preparation experience. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review individual, multi-state, S-Corp, and C-Corp tax returns. Utilize UltraTax software for tax preparation and filing. Conduct detailed tax planning and provide advice to clients. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax situations and planning. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Qualifications: 2-3 years of tax preparation experience, including individual, multi-state, S-Corp, and C-Corp returns. Proficiency in UltraTax software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (or willingness to pursue certification). Prior experience in a public accounting firm. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary: $80K-$120K, DOE (Depends on Experience). 401k contributions and matching. Quarterly profit sharing. $500/month health insurance allowance. Support for continued education and certification in either CPA or Enrolled Agent. Additional Information: On-site training available for candidates with 1-2 years of tax preparation experience.
