Job Summary (Essential Functions)

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes meet the restaurant's specifications.
• Execute timely and accurate preparation of ingredients to meet service demands.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to streamline workflow and ensure efficient service.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of menu items.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a line cook or similar role.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification a plus.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., as well as stand extended periods of time. Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling.
