Secretary to Assistant Principal
Responsible for providing clerical and secretarial support to the administrator. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele. Essential Physical Requirements: Occasional lifting five (5) to twenty (20) pounds, frequent sitting, standing, occasional bending, squatting, reaching, stooping.
Responsibilities:
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Manages daily substitute teacher activities and records teacher absences.
- Assigns student lockers and processes student I.D. cards.
- Schedules events on master calendar regarding athletic events and activities and provides information to various personnel and community.
- Provides clerical support to the assistant principal and administrative assistant.
- Provides information through daily bulletin and other means to staff, students and others.
- Responds to telephone calls, routes calls, takes messages and assists staff, parents and community with concerns and questions.
