The Legal Practice Assistant supports attorneys and paralegals by performing a wide range of administrative and secretarial tasks, ensuring exceptional customer service and high-quality work output. Key responsibilities include maintaining collaborative relationships with team members, clients, and vendors, producing accurate and timely work, and contributing to efficient teamwork across offices. The role requires a solid understanding of the litigation process and may involve tasks such as reviewing and executing billing, responding to client requests, and resolving accounts receivable issues.

The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills, can multitask in a deadline-driven environment, and demonstrates accuracy, discretion, and independent judgment. Adaptability, initiative for process improvement, and proficiency with current technology are essential. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience supporting litigation attorneys or paralegals in a law firm, with knowledge of patent litigation procedures strongly preferred. Experience with independent e-filing in compliance with federal and state court rules is required.

Compensation for this position ranges from $76,000 to $108,250. Actual salary will depend on qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and location.
