Regional Sales Manager – Capital Equipment Houston, TX | $70K-$75K Base + Uncapped Commission + Company Vehicle An established international manufacturer of industrial capital equipment is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to help drive growth across a large multi-state territory. Join a globally recognized manufacturer with customers across aerospace, defense, automotive, energy, and industrial manufacturing sectors Strong growth trajectory under new executive leadership focused on expanding market share and investing in the future Clear advancement path into sales leadership and branch management Established territory with existing customers and significant untapped growth potential Company vehicle provided Uncapped commission structure with realistic six-figure earning potential Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with minimal corporate bureaucracy Direct access to decision-makers and leadership Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 Uncapped Commission (typical annual commissions range from $30,000 - $60,000+) Company Vehicle Company Credit Card Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off What You'll Be Doing Manage a large multi-state territory and develop long-term customer relationships Execute the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and post-sale account management Generate new business through lead follow-up, cold outreach, networking, referrals, and market researchConduct in-person and virtual equipment demonstrations Develop relationships with manufacturers, fabricators, job shops, distributors, and industrial end-users Create and maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline activity through CRM tools Attend industry trade shows and customer events Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding manufacturing processes and recommending solutions What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of capital equipment sales experience OR 2+ years selling industrial manufacturing equipment Proven outside sales experience with a strong track record of developing new businessExperience managing a sales territory and working independently Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and closing skills Comfortable traveling throughout a multi-state territory Self-motivated professional who thrives with autonomy and ownership Experience using CRM systems and maintaining sales pipelines Preferred Backgrounds Machine tools Metal fabrication equipment CNC equipment Press brakes, lasers, plasma cutting systems, shears, or automation equipment Industrial manufacturing equipment Robotics and automation solutions Capital equipment sales within manufacturing environments Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a driven hunter who enjoys building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and growing territory revenue. This individual should be comfortable managing their own schedule, prospecting new accounts, and operating with a high level of independence.
