Progressive Cardiac Care Unit nurses provide care to a highly acute population of cardiac progressive patients. The environment is fast-paced and requires a high level of skill and knowledge. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to advance your knowledge in a highly specialized and rewarding setting. You will be responsible for providing care to patients with heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, post-catheterization, cardiac arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions. You will also care for patients pre-surgical for procedures such as VAD, transplant, and CABG. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 on days and nights. This role offers the chance to work with a highly acute patient population, fostering a mentoring environment for ongoing professional development.
