Deal Flow Mentors are a key tier of our ecosystem—providing high-touch mentorship to analysts and scouts, guiding deal origination and execution, while benefiting from both earning opportunities and enhanced credibility across the network.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Deal Flow Mentors to provide strategic guidance and mentorship to analysts, scouts, and deal sponsors, helping shape successful deal origination, diligence, and execution.

This is an independent contractor role. Mentors operate through a verification and approval process rather than traditional employment. Once approved, Deal Flow Mentors:

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on sourcing, screening, and presenting investment opportunities

• Advise sponsors, fund managers, and investors on deal origination strategies and capital market positioning

• Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

• Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

Ideal candidates are experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of sourcing, closing, or advising on capital transactions.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Deal Flow Mentors may:

• Guide analysts and scouts on sourcing proprietary or high-quality investment opportunities

• Advise on deal qualification, market positioning, and introduction strategy

• Mentor analysts and scouts on financial modeling, diligence handoffs, and deal execution workflow

• Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and early-stage negotiation guidance

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Mentors focus on strategic guidance, deal flow optimization, and relationship-driven activation. Day-to-day transactional execution is not required unless approved.

Eligible Advisory Areas

• Deal sourcing and pipeline development

• Screening, evaluation, and early diligence guidance

• Structuring support and transaction strategy advisory

• Mentorship and training for analysts and deal scouts

• Investor relations and curated network strategy

Approval is granted based on experience, deal flow track record, and demonstrated mentorship ability.

Compensation & Deal Economics

• Independent contractor engagement

• Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, track record, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals

• Payments issued after successful completion of mentorship milestones or deal closure

• No cap on earning potential for consistently high-value contributions

How Mentors Get Activated

1. Submit a Deal Flow Mentor application, including background, track record, and deal history

2. Complete verification and category approval

3. Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin mentoring analysts, scouts, and working with sponsors on approved engagements

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to real opportunities.

Compliance Notice

Deal Flow Mentors do not :

• Provide investment advice to the public

• Solicit securities

• Market investments outside of approved channels

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All work must comply with applicable securities laws and focus on mentorship, strategic guidance, and deal flow support .
