Investment Mentors (Private Capital) are a core advisory tier within the ecosystem—providing high-touch investment guidance, transaction perspective, and mentorship to sponsors, funds, and investors while benefiting from both earning opportunities and enhanced credibility across the network.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Investment Mentors (Private Capital) to provide strategic, investment-focused guidance and mentorship to fund managers, investors, deal sponsors, and analysts.

This is not a traditional employment role . Mentors operate as independent contractors and are activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Mentors:

• Guide investment strategy across fund formation, capital deployment, and deal execution

• Advise on capital raising, deal structuring, and investment decision-making

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts, strengthening investment judgment and execution capability

• Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

• Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced private capital professionals who can translate real transaction experience into structured mentorship and strategic investment insight.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Investment Mentors (Private Capital) may:

• Advise fund managers on investment strategy, capital positioning, and LP engagement

• Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence processes, and transaction execution

• Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insight, and value creation guidance

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Mentors focus on high-level investment guidance, strategic judgment, and mentorship , rather than day-to-day transactional modeling unless explicitly approved.

Eligible Advisory Areas

• Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

• Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy

• Investment underwriting, diligence oversight, and execution judgment

• Operational or portfolio company advisory

• Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts

Approval is granted based on experience, investment track record, and demonstrated ability to mentor teams on real private capital transactions.

Compensation & Deal Economics

• Mentors are independent contractors

• Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, investment history, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory contributions to closed deals

• Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

• No cap on earning potential for consistent, high-impact mentorship

How Mentors Get Activated

1. Submit a Mentor application detailing background, investment experience, and deal history

2. Complete verification and category approval

3. Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin mentoring funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved engagements

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to real opportunities.

Compliance Notice

Investment Mentors (Private Capital) do not :

• Provide investment advice to the public

• Solicit securities

• Market investments outside of approved channels

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All mentoring and advisory activity must comply with applicable securities laws and remain focused on strategic investment guidance, mentorship, and deal support .
