Private Capital Mentors are a vital tier of our ecosystem—providing strategic, high-touch mentorship to sponsors, funds, and investors while earning opportunities and enhancing credibility across the network.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Investment Mentors to provide strategic, operational, and capital-market guidance while mentoring analysts, scouts, and junior advisors.

This is not a traditional employment role . Mentors operate as independent contractors , activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Investment Mentors:

• Advise on fund formation, capital raising, deal structuring, and operational strategy

• Mentor analysts, deal scouts, and junior advisors, building internal capacity and credibility

• Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

• Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of closing capital transactions or leading investment initiatives.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Investment Mentors may:

• Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning

• Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence, and transaction execution

• Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Mentors focus on high-level strategic guidance and relationship-driven deal activation . They do not handle day-to-day transactional modeling unless specifically approved.

Eligible Advisory & Mentorship Areas

• Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

• Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy

• Operational or portfolio company advisory

• Mentorship and technical training for analysts, scouts, and junior advisors

• Investor relations and network strategy

Approval is granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to advise and mentor on real transactions .

Compensation & Deal Economics

• Independent contractor arrangement

• Hourly rates: $200–$500, depending on experience, track record, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory work on closed deals

• Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

• No cap on earnings for consistent high-value contributions

How Mentors Get Activated

1. Submit an Investment Mentor application with background, track record, and deal history

2. Complete verification and category approval

3. Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin mentoring funds, sponsors, analysts, and deal scouts on approved engagements

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to live opportunities .

Compliance Notice

Investment Mentors do not :

• Provide investment advice to the public

• Solicit securities

• Market investments outside approved channels

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All mentorship and advisory work must comply with applicable securities laws and focus on strategic guidance, mentoring, and deal support .
