Independent Contractor Role
Initio Sphere — Private Capital Ecosystem

Compensation:
$200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and advisory engagement

Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through real deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships.

Fund & Investment Mentors are a critical tier in our ecosystem—providing high-touch guidance to funds, sponsors, and investors, while helping to build the next generation of deal professionals and enhancing visibility and credibility across the network.

Initio Sphere is onboarding Fund & Investment Mentors to deliver strategic guidance and mentorship across fund formation, capital raising, investment strategy, and portfolio execution.

This is not a traditional employment role . Mentors operate as independent contractors and are activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Mentors:

• Coach fund managers and investment teams on strategy, capital allocation, and fundraising positioning

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts, building skills in diligence, modeling, and transaction execution

• Provide high-level guidance on deal structuring, investor relations, and operational strategy

• Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

• Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced operators, fund managers, investment professionals, or senior consultants with a proven record in closing transactions and guiding investment initiatives.

Approved Fund & Investment Mentors may:

• Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising narratives

• Support deal sponsors with structuring strategy, diligence oversight, and negotiation preparation

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on investment fundamentals, transaction modeling, and execution judgment

• Provide portfolio-level advisory guidance, value creation frameworks, and operational insights

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Mentors focus on strategic guidance and mentorship rather than day-to-day transactional modeling unless explicitly approved.

• Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

• Deal structuring, investment committee preparation, and transaction strategy

• Portfolio company advisory and value creation guidance

• Mentorship and technical training for analysts and deal scouts

• Investor relations, network strategy, and capital market insights

Approval is based on proven track record in funds and investments, along with the ability to coach others effectively.

• Mentors operate as independent contractors

• Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, track record, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives may be earned for mentorship tied to successful deals

• Payments issued after completion of approved mentorship milestones or deal closure

• No cap on earning potential for consistent high-impact contributions

1. Submit a Mentor application detailing experience, track record, and deal history

2. Complete verification and category approval

3. Gain platform promotion and engagement eligibility

4. Begin mentoring funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved engagements

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and access to real opportunities.

Fund & Investment Mentors do not :

• Provide investment advice to the public

• Solicit securities

• Market investments outside approved channels

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All work must comply with securities laws and focus on strategic guidance, mentorship, and deal support .

• Ex-IB, PE, VC, or senior fund executives with a proven transaction record

• Experienced operators or founders with deep investment networks

• Senior advisors who enjoy mentoring and developing analysts and deal scouts

• Professionals seeking high-touch advisory roles with exposure to live deals

• Direct access to fund managers, investors, and live deal flow

• Monetize experience without traditional employment constraints

• Build reputation and credibility across a high-signal ecosystem

• Mentor top-tier analysts and deal scouts shaping the next generation
