Independent Contractor Role
Initio Sphere — Private Capital Ecosystem

Compensation:
$200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and advisory engagement

Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through real deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships.

Portfolio Growth Mentors are a key tier of our ecosystem—providing high-impact strategic, operational, and capital guidance to sponsors, funds, and investors, while benefiting from both earning opportunities and enhanced credibility within the network.

Initio Sphere is onboarding Portfolio Growth Mentors to help fund managers and deal sponsors scale, optimize, and enhance the performance of their portfolios.
This is not a traditional employment role. Mentors operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Portfolio Growth Mentors:

• Advise on fund strategy, capital allocation, deal structuring, and portfolio growth initiatives

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts to build sourcing, diligence, and execution expertise

• Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

• Build a verified Advisor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven track record of driving portfolio performance and leading capital growth initiatives.

Approved Mentors may:

• Advise fund managers on portfolio strategy, asset performance, and value creation

• Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and strategic growth initiatives

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on best practices in sourcing, diligence, and transaction execution

• Provide operational and strategic guidance to optimize portfolio outcomes

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Mentors focus on high-level portfolio growth strategy, guidance, and mentorship. Day-to-day modeling or underwriting is handled by analysts unless explicitly approved.

• Portfolio strategy, optimization, and growth

• Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

• Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy

• Mentorship and technical training for analysts and deal scouts

• Investor relations, positioning, and network strategy

Approval is granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to advise on real transactions and portfolio growth initiatives.

• Mentors are independent contractors

• Hourly rates: $200–$500, depending on experience, track record, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals

• Payments issued upon successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

• No cap on earning potential for consistent high-value contributions

1. Submit an application with background, track record, and portfolio experience

2. Complete verification and category approval

3. Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin advisory engagements with funds, sponsors, and analysts

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to impactful portfolio opportunities.

Portfolio Growth Mentors do not :

• Provide investment advice to the public

• Solicit securities

• Market investments outside of approved channels

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All advisory work is limited to strategic guidance, mentorship, and deal support and must comply with applicable securities laws.

• Ex-IB, PE, VC, or senior fund executives with a proven track record in portfolio growth

• Experienced operators or founders with strong deal and portfolio networks

• Senior advisors who can mentor and elevate analysts and deal scouts

• Professionals seeking high-touch advisory roles with portfolio and transaction exposure

• Direct access to fund managers, investors, and live deal flow

• Monetize expertise without traditional employment constraints

• Build reputation and credibility across a high-signal ecosystem

• Mentor top-tier analysts and deal scouts, shaping the next generation
