Independent Contractor Role
Initio Sphere — Private Capital Ecosystem

Compensation:
$200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and advisory engagement

Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through real deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships .

Fund & Deal Mentors are a key tier of our ecosystem—providing strategic, operational, and transaction-level guidance to sponsors, funds, and investors while mentoring analysts and scouts, and benefiting from earning opportunities and enhanced credibility across the network.

Initio Sphere is onboarding Fund & Deal Mentors to deliver hands-on guidance across fund formation, capital strategy, and deal execution .

This is an independent contractor role , not traditional employment. Mentors operate autonomously through a verification and approval process. Once approved, Mentors:

• Advise on fund formation, capital raising, deal structuring, and operational strategy

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts, building internal capacity and ecosystem credibility

• Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

• Build a verified Advisor Track Record within Initio Sphere

This role is ideal for experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of leading capital transactions and investment initiatives .

Approved Fund & Deal Mentors may:

• Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning

• Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence workflows, and transaction execution

• Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Mentors focus on high-level strategic guidance and deal activation . Day-to-day transactional modeling is handled by analysts unless specifically approved.

• Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

• Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy

• Operational or portfolio company advisory

• Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts

• Investor relations and network strategy

Approval is granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to advise on real funds and deals .

• Independent contractor engagement

• Hourly rates: $200–$500 , based on experience, track record, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals

• Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

• No cap on earning potential for consistent high-value contributions

1. Submit a Fund & Deal Mentor application with background, track record, and deal history

2. Complete verification and category approval

3. Get activated within the Initio Sphere platform

4. Begin working with funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved engagements

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to live fund and deal opportunities .

Fund & Deal Mentors do not :

• Provide investment advice to the public

• Solicit securities

• Market investments outside approved channels

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All advisory work focuses on strategic guidance, mentorship, and deal/fund support , compliant with applicable securities laws.

• Ex-IB, PE, VC, or senior fund executives with a proven transaction record

• Experienced operators or founders with strong deal networks

• Senior advisors capable of mentoring and elevating analysts and scouts

• Professionals seeking high-touch advisory roles with fund and deal exposure

• Direct access to fund managers, investors, and live deal flow
