Independent Contractor Role
Initio Sphere — Private Capital Ecosystem

Compensation:
$200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, fund or deal size, and mentorship engagement

Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through live deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships.

Fund & Deal Mentors are a senior advisory tier within the ecosystem—experienced professionals who guide both fund-level strategy and deal-level execution , while mentoring analysts and deal teams through real transactions.

Initio Sphere is onboarding Fund & Deal Mentors to support fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors across the full investment lifecycle—from fund formation and capital strategy to deal structuring, diligence, and close.

This is not a traditional employment role. Mentors operate as independent contractors , activated through a selective verification and approval process.

Once approved, Fund & Deal Mentors:

• Guide funds on strategy, structure, and capital formation

• Support sponsors through live deal execution and transaction decision-making

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on institutional-quality analysis and judgment

• Access curated deal flow and transaction-linked earning opportunities

• Build a verified Mentor Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is designed for professionals who can connect fund strategy to deal outcomes and elevate execution quality across teams.

Approved Fund & Deal Mentors may:

• Advise fund managers on fund formation, capital strategy, and LP engagement

• Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

• Guide investment committee preparation and transaction sequencing

• Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence, and execution standards

• Provide portfolio-level insights, operational guidance, and value-creation input

• Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Mentors focus on high-level guidance, execution judgment, and mentorship —not day-to-day transactional modeling unless explicitly approved.

• Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

• Deal structuring, diligence oversight, and transaction strategy

• Investment committee support and execution readiness

• Portfolio advisory and operational value creation

• Analyst and deal scout mentorship and technical development

• Investor relations and network strategy

Approval is granted based on demonstrated experience and a proven record advising or executing real transactions.

• Independent contractor engagement

• Hourly rates: $200–$500 , based on experience, track record, and engagement scope

• Transaction-based incentives available for advisory on closed deals

• Payments issued upon completion of advisory milestones or deal close

• No cap on earning potential for consistent, high-impact mentorship

1. Submit a Mentor application with background, fund experience, and deal history

2. Complete verification and advisory category approval

3. Receive platform promotion and engagement matching

4. Begin working with funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved mandates

This process ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to live opportunities.

Fund & Deal Mentors do not :

• Provide investment advice to the public

• Solicit securities

• Market investments outside approved channels

• Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All work must comply with applicable securities laws and focus on strategic guidance, mentorship, and deal support.

• Ex–IB, PE, VC, private credit, or senior fund professionals with closed deals

• Fund managers or operators with end-to-end investment lifecycle experience

• Senior advisors who enjoy mentoring analysts through real transactions
