WHAT YOU'LL DO:

ROVER – Vehicle/foot patrols; deter theft, vandalism, and suspicious activity GATEHOUSE – Access control; greet and ID residents/guests, log vehicles, announce visitors FRONT DESK – Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor's arrival Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks Warn violators of infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, and/or possession of prohibited items) Respond to calls of distress, alarms, and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders Identify and report any concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents) Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed Other duties to be determined by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• High school degree or equivalent
• Valid state licensing REQUIRED (Texas Guard Card)
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience
• Minimum of one year of security experience
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing of stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time
