We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of production machinery, CNC equipment, and building infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience in a manufacturing environment, and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment reliability.

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, CNC machinery, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment issues.
• Maintain and support Mazak CNC machines, including program adjustments and optimization as needed.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to reduce downtime.
• Repair, rebuild, and install machinery, production equipment, and supporting infrastructure.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Complete facility maintenance tasks including lighting, plumbing, HVAC support, and general building repairs.
• Support equipment upgrades, renovations, and capital improvement projects.
• Maintain maintenance records and document repairs, inspections, and equipment performance.
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe and organized work environment.
• Work independently to prioritize maintenance requests and respond to production needs in a timely manner.

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, machining, or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, motors, controls, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Experience with Mazak CNC machines and CNC programming.
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and industrial controls.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Vocational training, technical certificate, or related maintenance education.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moline, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Moline,IL.
