ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive revenue growth by identifying and enabling new programs, offerings, and fulfillment solutions, while defining and implementing the order management processes required to support new business initiatives, products, and operational capabilities.
• Responsible for building tools to support accurate reporting of the order book and financial reporting to identify gaps between monthly targets and plans.
• Monitor daily order deliveries and work directly with the Distribution Center and/or Production Managers on shipping and sales related issues. Communication and process coordination of deliveries and shipments to ensure order fulfillment within customer, sales, and company requirements are met.
• Develop, review, report and act on appropriate metrics associated with Sales Operations to drive business operations.
• Develop and maintain process documentation associated with all Sales Operations activities.
• Present and communicate efficiently with Sales Team on product allocations decisions and execute to outputs.
• Manage and development sales operations team.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Sales on the commercialization of new and run out of end of life products. Validate proper new product set up in SAP/Order Tool, including pricing to ensure orders are processed according to designed programs.
• Ensure company policy and business rules are upheld and carried out by Managing Corporate No Charge, Board Member, VP and VIP promotional policies. Work with corporate audit to review policies and procedures and provide reporting as require by SOX and tax.
• Collaborate with team to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales Program Manager and IT to ensure orders are coded and priced accurately and that systems are in place to support all programs.
• Develop and execute plans to ensure that there is an efficient process to review and react to orders in SAP.
• Develop, implement, maintain and train all sales processes related to new business needs or special programs developed by Sales.
• Coordinate, document, and implement processes with Callaway Golf business partners as required for Special Projects, third-party processing, and new business requirements.
• Help to define business processes related to Order Management operations.
• Oversee and communicate process documentation and coordinate updates to all areas affected.
• Provide leadership and direction to Order Management and Sales Operations Team ensuring highest accuracy of orders and efficient business operations.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Demonstrated ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Business Objects and Power BI.
• Advanced knowledge of entire order business process flow both within SAP and general company requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of sales programs and be able to enforce guidelines, train staff and ensure operations are in place to support the program requirements.
• Able to effectively lead and manage direct subordinate employees.
• Highly knowledgeable in effective sales operations techniques and skilled in managing difficult situations.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills – both verbally and written and be able to relate to all level of employees.
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach and develop staff at all levels.
• Considers and understands implications a change in policy/procedure may have in other departments or across the Company.
• Highly developed detail orientation, initiative, problem solving and relationship building qualities.
• Must be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision.
• Be able to read, understand and interpret instructions, policies, procedures, program information, etc.
• Must be able to think creatively and suggest solutions to issues related to sales operations.
• In depth knowledge of all Callaway Golf product lines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Operations, Order Management or similar experience required
• Minimum 4 years of Supervisory or Management experience required
• Project Management experience preferred
• Customer Service experience / background preferred
• SAP, Business Objects experience preferred
• Golf industry experience preferred
