Environmental Services Manager

South Plains Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of UMC and Encompass Health South Plains Rehabilitation Hospital, an affiliate of UMC and Encompass Health Lubbock, TX 79416 The Environmental Services Manager maintains housekeeping and laundry services ensuring a safe, sanitary, and clean environment for all patients, visitors, and employees. This position plans, develops, organizes, directs, and controls operations of the Environmental Services Department and upholds requirements, TJC, federal, state and local regulations. In addition, the position provides direct supervision and guidance to environmental service staff, as well as laundry staff as appropriate. This position will support cultural diversity by ensuring that the delivery of quality, equitable and culturally competent patient-centered care is provided; promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity; and ensuring that cultural diversity and sensitivity training is part of new employee orientation on an on-going basis to meet the needs of the patient population served in the hospital.
