Financial Operations Officer (FOO) The Financial Operations Officer for the department of Research reports to the School of Medicine's Chief Financial & Administrative Officer (CFAO), Associate Dean, Biomedical Sciences, and Associate Dean, Clinical Research. Position Overview The role is to turn data into information – accessing, analyzing, and presenting operational, financial, clinical, and industry data to guide decision-making for the School of Medicine. Responsibilities Provide data analysis and reporting for the Research department including Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, and the Center for Health Disparities Research. Conduct complex financial forecasting and analytics. Offer consultative financial support to Research leadership by advising on financial problems and recommending budgetary solutions. Assist in developing and maintaining the operating budget. Qualifications Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. The position does not sponsor or assume sponsorship of employment visas. Compensation Salary range: $90,400 – $169,000 annually; expected pay scale up to $129,700.
