CAD Technician

A CAD Technician is responsible for providing drafting services in support of commercial, retail, municipal, and various other civil engineering projects. Qualifications 2 year Associate Degree in Drafting Design 3+ years CAD experience in a Civil Engineering production environment (AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017 or higher / AutoDesk Vault experience preferred) Working knowledge of Microsoft 2021 Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat DC Ability to prioritize and multi-task with respect to projects Adhere to BFA CAD Standards Ability to work overtime and travel as required Strong attention to detail Ability to work as a team player Field Tech experience (preferred) Responsibilities Drafting for land development plans, zoning plans, concept plans, and construction documents Research and obtain standards/codes as required by clients and jurisdiction to accurately and efficiently develop above noted plans Accurately complete drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule Integration and understanding of multiple key factors should be considered during the course of design including: BFA Drafting Standards Municipal Regulations and Requirements Client Design Criteria Key Relationships Project Managers Field Technicians Other CAD Techs #J-18808-Ljbffr
