We are seeking a Material Handler / Equipment Operator to support our fast-paced construction manufacturing environment. This role primarily involves operating scissor lifts and forklifts, handling materials, and aiding in shipping and receiving operations to ensure smooth production.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely to move materials, equipment, and finished products throughout the facility.
• Support shipping and receiving, including loading/unloading trucks and staging materials.
• Transport materials between departments to aid production flow.
• Assist with inventory organization, staging, and material tracking.
• Perform daily equipment checks to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Use hand and power tools as needed to support operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements at all times.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of forklift and/or scissor lift operating experience.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling environments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production setting.
• Strong awareness of safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet throughout the shift.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments preferred.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on reliability and attendance.
• Comfortable working overtime and weekends as needed.
• Experience with inventory systems or staging processes is a plus.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
