Registered Nurse - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)

Night shift, 3x12 hour (18:45 - 07:15).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a high-acuity medical-surgical unit. The unit provides care for patients with complex respiratory conditions, including COVID-19. You will work within a collaborative environment with resources such as a team lead, respiratory therapists, and nursing support staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Provide care for ventilated and non-ventilated patients.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Document patient assessments and care plans using EPIC.
• Participate in patient admissions and discharges.
• Float to similar units as required based on staffing needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a high-acuity setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Valid RN license (NC or Compact) required.
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, and telemetry is preferred.
