RESTAURANT MANAGER | JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports to: General Manager | Location: Restaurant FLSA Status: Non-Exempt | Compensation Range: $24.00-$26.00 per hour Primary role: The Restaurant Manager’s responsibilities include delivering an exceptional and memorable dining experience, partnering with leadership to manage daily operations, and developing team members in alignment with company mission, vision, and values. Core Responsibilities Leads through service, supports and empowers the team, and demonstrates integrity, values, and commitment consistent with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values. Maintains a guest-focused shift environment and demonstrates respect and loyalty to the team each shift. Works as a partner and team player with Managers, Heart of the House, and Front of the House team members to achieve common goals. Coaches and leads the team in training, policy adherence, and service standards through our Points of Service. Maintains mastery of the Circle of Service and delegates to team members while communicating with other managers. Engages with guests to exceed expectations and builds relationships with guests at the restaurant, catering events, and in the community. Adheres to health department and sanitation standards in partnership with GM, AGM, and EKM. Understands catering services and systems; coordinates Stonefire catering events. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local health, safety, and labor standards. Maintains a clean, comfortable, and inviting restaurant environment. Manages safety across shifts and enforces safety policies and accountability for breaches. Partners with managers to guarantee food and products are prepared and served to recipes, portioning, and serving standards. Supports achievement of sales, food cost, labor cost, and operating expense objectives; collaborates with GM, AGM, and KMs to stay on track. Attends scheduled team meetings and assists in preparing schedules and conducting Weekly Manager and KM Meetings. Performs other related duties as assigned by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. Building Successful Relationships Exemplary role model of leadership in Stonefire Business Partnerships at all levels. Implements Stonefire brand strategy and builds long-term relationships with team members, guests, and vendors. Delivers high-level guest service to drive satisfaction and engagement, monitoring guest experiences. Leadership & Culture Leads through humble service and partners with GM and AGM to manage HOH, FOH, and Caterers. Coaches and champions revenue strategies, guest satisfaction, and team member engagement. Maintains a cultural pulse, champions the Company’s Culture and Values, and partners with People & Culture to attract and retain talent. Coaches, trains, and mentors team members; utilizes training tools for business development, loyalty, and upselling. Operates independently with strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities. Requirements About You 2+ years in a high-volume role. Fast Casual restaurant and catering experience preferred but not required. Positive, passionate, results-oriented, and a strong communicator. Focused, attentive, and available to support team members and guests as issues arise. Open to coaching and development; values critical to company success. Strong organizational leadership and exceptional communication skills. Entrepreneurial and driven by accomplishment. Lover of people, food, and service, with a passion for their confluence.
