The Powersports Service Manager oversees all service operations for a medium-sized team of 6 to 15 members, primarily managing the maintenance and repair of ATVs and Side x Sides. This role involves ensuring efficient service scheduling, maintaining strong customer relations, and guiding staff training to uphold high standards within the dealership. Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required.

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a medium team of service technicians and staff
• Manage service scheduling to optimize workflow and customer satisfaction
• Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure loyalty and repeat business
• Train and develop staff to improve technical skills and service standards
• Oversee inventory management related to service parts and tools
• Administer warranty claims ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Utilize proprietary dealership software for service management and reporting
• Address and resolve service-related problems efficiently

 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in powersports service management
• Comprehensive knowledge of powersports vehicles, specifically ATVs and Side x Sides
• Proven team leadership skills managing medium-sized groups
• Excellent customer service abilities
• Inventory management experience
• Knowledge of warranty administration processes
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication skills
