Affiliated Instructor in the Creative Arts

Job Summary The Department of Creative Arts seeks an instructor to teach one section of Drawing I and/or one section of 2D Design in the Fall 2026 semester. Courses have about 20 students each and are scheduled for 5:30-7:20 pm on M/W and T/Th evenings respectively. Responsibilities Plan and deliver instruction for Drawing I and/or 2D Design. Use Canvas Learning Management System to post syllabus, assignments and grades. Adapt or use existing syllabi and project outlines as needed. Minimum Qualifications MA or MFA in Visual/Fine Art. Preferred Qualifications Collegiate teaching experience. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated hiring or recruitment range for this position is $5,000 per course. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications, education and experience of the candidate.
