Overview Salary: USD 45 - USD 60 per hour + Overtime + Benefits + Bonus Operations Supervisor - 2nd Shift — Hartford, CT Are you a working supervisor with a machining background looking to lead a shop-floor team on 2nd shift, with a clear path into management and director roles? You will run your own shift with real autonomy, supported by strong earning potential and long-term prospects in a well-established manufacturer entering an exciting growth phase. This role combines team leadership with hands-on involvement on the shop floor. You will supervise a team of operators across the 2nd shift, keep production running smoothly, troubleshoot machines as issues arise, check fixtures, and provide hands-on support on parts. You will meet with the operations director at each changeover to keep the shift aligned. This role suits a working supervisor with mill or lathe experience and a background in team leadership, looking to run their own shift with strong earning potential and a clear path into management. Responsibilities Supervise a team of operators across the 2nd shift, keeping production on track. Troubleshoot machines, check fixtures, and provide hands-on support on parts. Meet with the operations director at each changeover to align the shift. Qualifications Working supervisor with a machining background (mills or lathes). Team lead experience. Machine setup and troubleshooting (no programming required).
